The screenplay for Ambush is coming along nicely. I banged out the first act a couple of weeks ago, then I got a little stumped on act 2. Not a big surprise, since act 2 is the biggest section of any screenplay. I referred to “Screenplay” and “Screenwriters Workbook” by Syd Field, and it helped me figure things out, and I plugged in some missing pieces. Per “Workbook,” I broke up act 2 into two parts, which also makes it easy. I highly recommend both books!
Now I’m writing act 2 without a problem, and should be able to start structuring and writing the second half of act 2 this weekend, or so.
